Looking to be more familiar with this niche of shemales and trannys? I have put together some quick definitions of the common terms and differences in the community. When in doubt the 2 most common used terms are Shemale, Tranny and Ladyboy. Tranny and Shemale can be considered the same in porn. Though shemale is a more searched term when dealing with porn

Definitions:

1. Transgender: Transgender is a broad based term used to describe people who believe they were born into the world with the wrong body. Males wish they were females and females wish they were males. Short form terms can be seen usually as M-F or M to F and F-M or F to M. One doesn't have to under go any change to be a transgender and just has to hold a belief they feel they are the opposite gender of the body they have.

2. Transexual: Transexual is another broad term to define transgender but usually many transexuals have under gone some type of body modification to start their change towards being the opposite sex of their current body. These can be as simple as Hormone replacement thraphy to full SRS sex reasignment surgery.

NOTE: The correct spelling is transsexual with two s but most spell is with one s. So it is your choice.

3. Shemale: A sex and porn industry term used to describe transexual women who have had surgeries to appear as females but have chosen to keep their male parts (penis).

4. Ladyboy: Usually referring to Asian shemales

5. Transvestite: Usually used to describe one who wears clothing of the opposite sex for sexual pleasure. That being said this is a very general term that has many meanings but in the world of porn and sex the above is most times correct.

6. Crossdresser: Usually referring to one who dresses in the clothing of the opposite sex but not always for sexual pleasure. In the porn world crossdresser and transvestite can be considered similar.
